Otakon Update
So it’s looking like the Be Calm meetup at Otakon is going to be on Friday afternoon! Which means, of course, that I’ll basically be grabbing anyone who shows up and dragging you all to lunch, where we can do live Q&A and I’ll even take drawing requests from people. I’ll most likely have my Red cosplay ready by that day, and one of my friends has been considering being Ard, so that’s something to look forward to! I was thinking we could all meet around noon, maybe in the Camden Lobby or wherever is potentially going to be the least crowded.

The school system where I live has decided to let out school early, because we’ve had no snow days this year, meaning that I (and my artist for the intermission) will have essentially nothing else to do after AP exams end! So you all can expect Be Calm to return to a normal update schedule between the dates of May 5th and May 12th!
Otakon?
So, I happen to live in the same state (Maryland) where Otakon is held every year, and I will be attending this year for my second year ever! I’m hoping that if enough of you guys are coming, we’ll be able to organize a meetup sometime Friday afternoon/evening or Saturday morning - whatever doesn’t conflict with other meetups everyone is thinking of going to! I know I’m down for some of the Homestuck photoshoots myself. Anyway, if any of you are interested, it would be a great opportunity for me to meet some of you face-to-face and vice versa, maybe draw for you guys, go to lunch and whatnot, and do some live Q&A! I might even be cosplaying one of the characters on Friday.

i feel bad that you guys haven’t seen hide nor hair of us in a while so here’s some real concept art, of something big that’s going to be coming up in act three.
So, I know we haven’t updated in a while.
And the next few pages of the intermission are coming up soon, but I feel kind of bad that it’s been so long. I hope you guys can forgive me for the wait - it’s been kind of crazy for me at school lately. In retribution, here’s some concept art for Acts III and IV (yes, there will be an Act IV!) under the cut.
IMPORTANT: EVERYONE INTERESTED IN BE CALM OC ROLEPLAY
Rupee and I are planning on starting up a Skype group for people to roleplay their Be Calm OCs, which the two of us will be moderating! The roleplay will be called Carry On, and all posts referring to it will henceforth be tagged #carry on rp. We’re still working out rules, and the group has not been created yet, but we’ve worked up a character app for those of you who are interested in participating! You can fill it out and fanmail it to me, and Rupee and I will go over all of them together and get back to everyone ASAP.

I'm glad I get to watch this story progress from here on, though, it's great so far. You all are doing an amazing job on this comic, and it's always kind of fun to see the Ruby Quest and Homestuck-ish influences in there. Keep doing what you're doing, I'll be glued to the screen until this story is through and then some.
